These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Ledgr mobile application and related services (the "Service") provided by eSolvd ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account, subscribing, or using Ledgr, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction (or have parental consent where required) to use the Service. You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure.
2. The Service
Ledgr provides tools to:
- Import and parse bank SMS transaction alerts (via Apple Shortcuts automation)
- Track accounts, transactions, categories, and tags
- Create monthly budgets and savings jars
- View spending insights and an on-device financial assistant
- Optionally sync encrypted backups and Pro features with a Ledgr account
Features may change over time. We may add, modify, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable.
3. Your data and responsibilities
- You are responsible for the accuracy of information you enter and for setting up SMS automations correctly.
- You must only use Ledgr with financial accounts and messages you are authorized to access.
- You must not misuse the Service, attempt to bypass security, or interfere with other users or our infrastructure.
- You are responsible for maintaining backups of important data. Uninstalling the app without backup may cause data loss.
4. Account and security
You may sign up with email and password or Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us promptly at esolvd.solutions@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access. You may delete your account in the app; see our Privacy Policy for deletion timing.
5. Ledgr Pro subscriptions
Ledgr Pro is an optional paid subscription that unlocks additional features such as unlimited accounts and jars, envelope budgeting, advanced insights, Apple Pay capture, full assistant intents, and encrypted cloud backup.
- Billing: Subscriptions are sold through Apple In-App Purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account. Prices are shown in the app before purchase.
- Auto-renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Free trial: If offered (e.g. yearly plan), any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase. Trial converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends.
- Managing subscriptions: Cancel or change your plan in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. We cannot cancel subscriptions on your behalf.
- Restore purchases: Use "Restore Purchases" in the app if you reinstall or change devices.
- Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Apple according to App Store policies.
- After lapse: If Pro expires, excess accounts or jars may become read-only; your data is not deleted solely because a subscription ended.
Apple's standard licensed application end user license agreement also applies to app usage via the App Store: Apple Media Services Terms.
6. Free tier limits
The free version includes limits on accounts, jars, budgets, assistant intents, insight periods, and daily AI-assisted SMS parsing quota. Limits are described in the app and may be updated. Exceeding limits may require upgrading to Pro or waiting until the next quota period.
7. SMS parsing and AI
SMS parsing relies on message formats from your bank and optional server-assisted AI for unknown templates. Parsing may be inaccurate or incomplete. You should review transactions before relying on them. By using AI-assisted parsing while signed in, you consent to processing described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Intellectual property
Ledgr, its branding, software, and content are owned by eSolvd or its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR THAT SMS PARSING WILL BE COMPLETE OR ACCURATE.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ESOLVD AND ITS AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $50.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless eSolvd from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if required by law. Provisions that by nature should survive termination (disclaimers, liability limits, governing law) will survive.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country provide otherwise.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, discontinue use and cancel any subscription.
